The sound installation I was a fish. I was a fish, in a pond. is the result of a performative act. Thinking in motion, the performer uses the simple motor skill of jumping as a tool to questions expectations that becomes apparent through the particular action - reach higher, get stronger, push further.
The visitor is invited to enter the space alone. In it, a spotlight lights up a trampoline. When taking the headphones and stepping on the trampoline, the light dimes and the audio starts to play in the darkness.
